INVOLVEMENT/ROLE(S): Executive Assistant, Social Media Strategist, & Event Planner
Lillian began her journey at the Extraordinary Events Initiative (EEI) with responsibilities that included managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and ensuring smooth communication across the team. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail helped streamline the team’s operations and contributed to the overall efficiency of the event planning process. This foundation of logistical support allowed the team to stay focused on curating impactful event experiences while Lillian’s proactive approach ensured that everything ran smoothly.
After this, she transitioned into the role of Researcher, where her primary responsibility was to analyze current trends and observe the growth trajectory of the event industry. With a background in science, Lillian has a solid foundation in research, and her curious mindset drives her to constantly explore new concepts. Her efforts led to the creation of three ongoing research articles:
Identifying Engagement Factors Critical to ROI of Learning at Events
Identifying Factors Necessary to Optimize Learning in Short-Term, Learning-Intensive Environments
Analysis of Food Safety Among Vendors within Outdoor and Indoor Events
From there, Lillian moved into the role of Event Planning Assistant and Social Media Strategist, working alongside Dr. K and the rest of the EEI team to design experiential moments for event students and educators. She played a key role in curating social media strategies, creating posts, and producing podcasts to share industry tips and insights, further enhancing her multifaceted contributions to the initiative.
